Post Covid-19 : Is it imperative to digitize all your activities ?
The story begins in November 2019 in Wuhan, a city in China’s Hubei province with over 11 million inhabitants, the equivalent of the entire population of Tunisia. A virus arises, affecting more than 212 countries, with over 2.8 million people infected and over 196,295 deaths (as of April 27, 2020).
The consequences of this catastrophe are devastating in terms of human, health and economic impact. The global epidemic is putting the entire world on hold, disrupting the daily lives of people everywhere, and questioning the achievements of the Homo sapiens 4.0.
All sectors are affected by the measures established by governments to limit the spread of this highly contagious new virus (such as population containment, curfews, minimizing physical contact and exchange, etc.). While some sectors in Tunisia continue to thrive with a significant increase in activity, others are facing significant challenges, including business closures and reduced face-to-face interactions.
The healthcare sector have been facing unique challenges during the pandemic, including accommodating Covid-19 patients, providing safe medical care, and potentially adopting digital prescriptions. These challenges put the sector under increased scrutiny and spotlighted the importance of adapting to new technologies.
The crisis amplifies the agility of the strongest: Those who quickly adapt and have a flexible and adaptable system will bounce back the quickest.
