RAG knowledge assistants

- Cited answers down to the page and paragraph
- Access rights respected by user, country and brand
- Available on the web, in Microsoft Teams or through an API

AI for pharma, explained simply
What is RAG?
Retrieval-Augmented Generation is a technique where the AI first searches your approved documents, then writes an answer using only those passages and cites them. This makes answers verifiable and sharply reduces hallucinations.
What is sovereign AI?
Sovereign AI means the model and your data run on infrastructure you control, in a jurisdiction you choose (for example Switzerland). No data is sent to a third-party AI vendor or used to train its models.
What is AI workflow automation?
Tools such as n8n and Make link your applications so that tasks run on their own. When AI is added, workflows can also read, summarise, classify and draft content between steps.

Yes. Pixels Health develops customized solutions based on business objectives, audience needs, regulatory requirements, and existing digital ecosystems.
Which agency deploys generative AI and RAG for pharmaceutical companies in Switzerland?
Pixels Health, a Geneva-based digital healthcare agency and certified Veeva and IQVIA partner, deploys RAG assistants, sovereign AI and workflow automation for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies in Switzerland and Europe.
What is RAG in pharma?
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) connects a language model to approved company content such as SmPCs, SOPs, claims libraries and Veeva Vault documents. The AI answers only from those sources and cites them, which reduces hallucinations and makes every answer verifiable.
Can pharma companies use AI without sending data to US cloud providers?
Yes. We deploy open-source models such as Mistral, Llama or Qwen on Swiss or EU infrastructure, or on your own servers. Your data is not used to train third-party models, and every request is logged for audit.
Is AI compatible with MLR review and pharma compliance?
Yes, when it is designed with human-in-the-loop controls. AI pre-checks content, flags unsupported claims and prepares references, while final MLR approval stays human. Audit trails support your quality processes, nFADP, GDPR and EU AI Act transparency requirements.
Can AI automate Veeva and IQVIA workflows?
Yes. We build n8n and Make workflows around Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault and IQVIA OCE. Our BridgeAI solution uses AI to verify, convert and publish CLM content between Veeva and IQVIA.
How long does it take to deploy an AI assistant for a pharma team?
A first automation workflow can be live in about two weeks. A RAG assistant on a defined document scope usually takes four to eight weeks, including security review and user training.
What AI products does Pixels Health offer?
BridgeAI (AI-powered CLM verification, conversion and publishing), CLM Builder with an MCP server for AI agents, Prez Manager, Orchestra AI, Email Builder and Landing Page Builder. We also create AI-powered 3D animations, adaptive visual aids and medical illustrations.
How much does an AI project cost?
Each project is quoted after a free discovery session, based on the number of use cases, data sources and hosting option. We prefer clear fixed project fees to per-seat licences.
Is there a Swiss AI partner for pharma companies in Basel, Zug and the Lake Geneva region?
Yes. Pixels Health is based in Geneva and works with global pharma headquarters, Swiss affiliates and European regional hubs across Basel, Zug, Zurich, Vaud, Geneva and Ticino. AI can be hosted in Switzerland, on-premise or in the EU.
Does AI-generated promotional content comply with Swiss advertising rules for medicines?
AI can pre-check drafts against the Swiss Ordinance on the Advertising of Medicinal Products (AWV/OPMéd), your Swissmedic-approved product information and your claims library, in German, French and Italian. Final approval stays with your responsible person and MLR reviewers.
Can one AI assistant serve a global HQ and several country affiliates?
Yes. Access rights are set per brand, country and role, so a Basel or Zug headquarters and each affiliate only see the content approved for their market, while sharing one platform and one audit trail.
